Impellor puller - note circle clip should be removed first to extract impellor.

Pulling it with out removing circle clip will remove the impellor along with the shaft it is mounted on.

 

 

 

 

Clean out all pieces of broken impellor - check all cavities of the housing.
  DO NOT SCRATCH THE INTERIOR SURVACE OF THE PUMP. IT WILL CAUSE PREMATURE WEAR OF THE IMPELLOR.

 

 

There are two seals on this pump. One on easch side of the center of the shaft opening. Flat survace of the new seals both face each other or in other words the recessed side of the seal face outwards. See pics.

To remove the old seals there are specialized tools for this puposes, but I used a long socket and carefully tapped out the old ones. Again go slow and do not score any pump survaces.

 

   

 

 

Clean all surfaces with solvent and buff with the finest emory cloth. Clean any grit off. Re-assemble the unit with a new gasket.
I used new impellor srews and saved the old ones I on the boat in case of at sea impellor replacement causes lossing one
